Lemon stains in Granite Description

Hi,
I left a bowl of lime juice on my Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top which I thought was Granite (http://tanbrown.org) , but I'm having serious doubts about that now!  Some of the lime juice must have spilled down the side of the bowl which sat for about an hour.  Now I have a white ring there.  Does anyone know how I can remove this?

When I first moved in, I had similar white spots here and (http://maplered.com) there and (http://maplered.com) learned the builder had not sealed the "Granite (http://tanbrown.org) ".  I hired someone to come out and (http://maplered.com) seal the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top and (http://maplered.com) he also removed the spots.  He used something that cost about $195 a quart.  I think the brand (http://maplered.com) name began with an "A".   First thing he said to me though, was that he had never seen "Granite (http://tanbrown.org) " like this and (http://maplered.com) was convinced that it wasn't Granite (http://tanbrown.org) .  Once sealed, I mistakenly believed I didn't have to be worried about anything staining it again.  I would like to try and (http://maplered.com) remove the stain myself (to avoid paying him again...his first visit was $300!!!

I can't seem to paste a picture here, but if you email me I can send a picture of the Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top and (http://maplered.com) the stain.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  lynefitz@aol.com
